Avec l\u2019ouverture en 2018 de Sushi Momo, son tout premier restaurant sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les sushis v\u00e9g\u00e9taliens, Christian Ventura, jeune chef de 34 ans, est sans contredit un pionnier de la cuisine v\u00e9g\u00e9talienne \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Les voyages pour inspiration<\/h3>\n

Sa passion pour la cuisine \u00e0 base de plantes est n\u00e9e de ses nombreux voyages dans des ashrams partout dans le monde o\u00f9 le v\u00e9ganisme \u00e9tait roi. Bali, Gr\u00e8ce, Tha\u00eflande<\/strong>, il tire de chacune de ses destinations des apprentissages pr\u00e9cieux sur la fa\u00e7on de cuisiner les ingr\u00e9dients v\u00e9g\u00e9taux.<\/p>\n

Tomb\u00e9 en amour avec Montr\u00e9al lors d\u2019un s\u00e9jour touristique, le jeune chef d\u2019origine mexicaine d\u00e9cide de s\u2019y installer pour de bon et d\u00e9croche un emploi dans un restaurant japonais o\u00f9 il d\u00e9veloppe un savoir-faire sans pareil. Il devient chef de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement en quelques mois seulement.<\/p>\n

Partager sa passion<\/h3>\n

Trois ans apr\u00e8s l\u2019ouverture de son propre restaurant Sushi Momo, Christian Manuel Ventura op\u00e8re une v\u00e9ritable r\u00e9volution de l\u2019alimentation v\u00e9g\u00e9talienne en \u00e9tant propri\u00e9taire de quatre restaurants 100 % v\u00e9g\u00e9taliens \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.
\nSon objectif? Partager sa passion pour la gastronomie v\u00e9gane avec le plus de gens possible.<\/p>\n

En 2020, il poursuit sur sa lanc\u00e9e et ouvre Casa Kaizen, un restaurant de cuisine fusion mexicaine et japonaise, suivi de Nopalito, un sympathique comptoir de cuisine de rue mexicaine, la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Les Montr\u00e9alais attendent impatiemment l\u2019ouverture de Bvrger<\/strong>, son plus r\u00e9cent projet qui devrait voir le jour d\u2019ici la fin de 2021. Bvrger servira des burgers sans viande d\u00e9cadents et des milkshakes de laits v\u00e9g\u00e9taux dans une ambiance de style diner.<\/p>\n
